WAFT! is a new venture involving the Zantidote record label, group of DJs, producers, and writers including The Vinyl Depreciation Society, Ben Wijay, George Amos, TEACHA+, Hussey, Andy Padula, Mr Geoffrey, Gratts, Byron Foxx, A1, Dan Beck, Biancolato, Greg Molinaro, and Hub 301 Record shop.
We curate events, preferably monthly residencies. Our most recent venture being Friday nights at Her Music Room.
Between us, we have run nights all over Melbourne, at venues such as The Retreat, Two Of Hearts, Love Machine, Dr Morse, Spice Market, The Toff, Transit, Red Benny’s, and The Prince.
Our demographic is aged 25-50 and best described as a vinyl-loving, music-savvy drinking crowd.
We play anything from House, Deep House, Nu Disco, Indie Dance, Cosmic, Balearic, Psychedelic, Afro Beats, Boogie, Dub, Italo, Psychedelic, Punk Funk.
